IGU Tourism Guidance Department attended the international congress

‘New Generations and New Trends in International Tourism Congress’ (INGANT 2018) was organized for the first time this year in partnership with Istanbul Gelişim University, Sakarya University of Applied Sciences, Chinese Zhejiang YueXiu University of Foreign Languages Institute of Hospitality Management, Siam University of Thailand

In the congress, aiming to make contributions to the development of sectoral dynamics by means of studies on innovations in the sector, changes in technologies used and changing consumer profiles, 75 papers were presented by 141 academicians from 40 different universities.

In addition to the academicians of the Istanbul Gelişim University, Department of Tourism Guidance engaged in the tourism sector with their studies, graduate students, sector representatives and local administrators also participated in the congress.
